The elected Officers of Krewe de Tech shall be a President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. The President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer shall be Members of Krewe de Tech.
Any elected Officer may be removed at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice, either at a meeting or by action in writing, by a majority of all the Directors of the Corporation. A vacancy in any elective office may be filled by the Directors of the Corporation at any meeting.
The President shall preside at all meetings of the Members, shall represent the intent of the Board of Directors outside of their meetings, maintain the general conduct of the general membership, preside over all Krewe de Tech meetings and any other meetings called by the Board of Directors, designate committees and appoint committee chairpersons as necessary, and call for Executive Committee meetings as necessary.
The Vice President shall preside at all meetings, serve in the place of the President in his absence, serve as the president for the remaining term of said office if the office of President has been vacated.
The Secretary shall keep the minutes and records of the organization in the appropriate books; file any certificates required by any statute, federal, city or state; give and serve all notices to Members and Directors of the Corporation; be the official custodian of the records and seal of the Corporation; submit to the Board of Directors any communications that may be addressed to the Secretary of the Corporation; attend to all correspondence of the Corporation and exercise all duties incident to the Office of Secretary.
The Treasurer shall have the care and custody of all monies belonging to the Corporation; be solely responsible for such monies or securities of the Corporation; and be one of the Officers who sign checks and drafts of the Corporation.
The Treasurer shall render at stated periods as the Board of Directors shall determine a written account of the finances of the Corporation and such report shall be physically affixed to the minutes of the Board of Directors of such meeting and shall exercise all duties incident to the office of Treasurer.
The Directors shall be elected annually at the annual meetings of Members, by a majority of the votes cast, and each Director, whether elected at an annual meeting or to fill a vacancy or otherwise, shall hold office until his or her successor shall have been elected and shall qualify, or until his or her death or resignation, or until he or she shall have been removed in the matter hereinafter provided.
In the event a vacancy occurs in the Board from any cause, the remaining Directors shall appoint a Member to fill the vacancy until the term of the vacant office expires.

At the November General Membership meeting we held elections for the officers and directors to lead KdT in 2020. The officers are President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary. In addition, we have three Directors at Large. These seven members constitute the Club's Board of Directors. Each member of the Board will serve from December 1, 2019 through November 30, 2020. The Board meets once a month, usually on the fourth Tuesday, at 6:30PM
We'd like to thank those who served us well in past and those who will lead us in upcoming year. If you'd like to serve in any other capacity you're in luck. We can always use more help on any of the committees. Get with any of the directors and we will find a job that best suits your interests and talents.
